CAPT Matthew Bradley, MD, FACS

Dr. Bradley is a trauma surgeon with deep deployment expertise. He is the also chair, general surgery program director, and professor in the department of surgery at USU. Dr. Bradley provides faculty contributions and administrative support for the knowledge and procedural skills assessment components of the JKSA Program.

COL(ret) Mark Bowyer, MD, FACS, FRCS

Dr. Bowyer is a trauma surgeon with numerous and extensive deployment experience and a professor in the department of surgery at USU. He serves as the director of general surgery and trauma surgery procedural skills assessment courses (ASSET+) for the JKSA Program.

Pamela Andreatta, PhD, EdD, FSSH

Pamela Andreatta, PhD, EdD, FSSH

Dr. Andreatta is a human performance scientist and professor in the department of surgery at USU, specializing in high acuity performance under stress. She oversees surgical skills assessment in the department and identifies performance gaps for focused development. She serves as the director of the knowledge and procedural skills assessment components of the JKSA Program.

CDR Daniel Hammer, DDS, FACS

Dr. Hammer is an oral maxillofacial surgeon with expertise in the management of craniomaxillofacial trauma and an associate professor in the department of surgery at USU. He serves as the director of the craniomaxillofacial trauma knowledge and procedural skills assessment components of the JKSA Program.

CDR Christopher Renninger, MD, FAAOS

CDR Christopher Renninger, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Renninger is an orthopaedic surgeon with extensive deployment experience and expertise in the management of orthopaedic trauma. He is an associate professor in the department of surgery at USU. He serves as the director of the combat orthopaedic trauma surgical skills (COTS+) procedural skills assessment course for the JKSA Program.

COL J. Christopher Graybill, MD, FACS

Dr. Graybill is trauma surgeon with extensive deployment experience and an associate professor in the department of surgery at USU. He serves as the chair of the JKSA Program working group that liaises with each of the services to ensure the program covers their respective clinical readiness requirements

Dr. Smith is a professor in the department of anesthesiology at USU. He serves as the specialty lead for JKSA knowledge and procedural skills assessment courses, where his expertise in simulation supported performance development facilitates pre-deployment preparation for anesthesiologists and CRNAs.

Nicholas Koeberle, MBA

Mr. Koeberle is an expert surgical technician in the department of surgery at USU. He serves as the lead course coordinator for all JKSA procedural skills courses and oversees all course requirements at USU and satellite course sites.

MSG Milfred (Shane) Williams

MSG Williams is a surgical technician and paramedic with extensive deployment experience and trauma expertise. He is a trauma specialist at Brooke Army Medical center and a surgical course coordinator in the department of surgery at USU. He serves as a coordinator for several procedural skills assessment courses for the JKSA Program.

Lisa Hernandez, BS

Ms. Hernandez is a program coordinator with extensive experience in clinical / surgical education and training. She has deep expertise in simulation supported and online learning environments. She serves as the course coordinator for all knowledge assessment components of the JKSA Program. She also manages CME/MOC requirements for all JKSA Program assessment courses.

Elizabeth (Betsy) Weissbrod, MA, CMI, FAMI

Elizabeth (Betsy) Weissbrod, MA, CMI, FAMI

Ms. Weissbrod is a medical illustrator and functional anatomical model developer in the department of surgery at USU. Her medical illustrations provide comprehensive clarity in all JKSA course manuals. Additionally, she leads the design, development and verification of high-fidelity simulation supported training models that are implemented in several JKSA procedural skills assessment courses.

Ms. Lin is a program manager in the department of surgery at USU. She manages scheduling and budgets for several knowledge and procedural skills assessment components of the JKSA Program.
