Course Structure
JKSA knowledge advancement and assessment courses are available on-demand and facilitated using online course resources, with a culminating exam administered through a third-party testing services (Internet Testing Service, ITS). Course resources are provided as links to websites, PDF articles, media, and clinical practice guidelines. All course content is organized by the specific expeditionary domains for each specialty. Links to course content are provided below for each course. Content links are also embedded within the course exam for additional reference.
Course Exams
Exams are composed of 200 multiple-choice questions that align with each specialty’s expeditionary scope of practice. Total exam time is 6 hours, which can be completed in multiple sessions to accommodate your schedule. Specifically, the exam may be taken during a single, dedicated session, or in multiple sessions of varying duration. The timer is in the upper left-hand corner of the testing window. If you are unable to isolate an uninterrupted time block for the examination there is “Pause” function located in the lower left-hand corner of the screen that will stop the timer.
Make sure to “Pause” the exam when you want a break!
