OUR RESEARCH MISSION
The USU Department of Neurology conducts clinical and translational research with a focus on pathophysiology, biomarkers, and treatments of military-relevant neurologic disorders. Our Local/NCA faculty are Neurology sub-specialists with expertise in Behavioral Neurology, Epilepsy, Neuro-Oncology, Neuroprotection, Sleep Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury. Our National Faculty have expertise that spans the full breadth of General and Sub-specialty Neurology. The Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine (CNRM) conducts cutting-edge science that improves the lives of service members with traumatic brain injury. Our faculty actively engage students, residents, and research/clinical fellows to contribute to the CNRM mission.
