INSIDE THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Family Medicine provides education to students in the School of Medicine and Graduate School of Nursing, as well as Family Medicine Residents in DoD GME programs across the continuum of the curriculum. We also conduct both educational and clinical research relevant to issues with the DoD. As part of our effort to ensure medical readiness of both the students enrolled at USU and the faculty who teach them, we also provide comprehensive health care to military students and their families, military and retiree faculty and their families, and other eligible beneficiaries.

We are educators, clinicians, and scholars practicing and promoting excellence in the community of federal and military Family Medicine. We are committed to excellence and leadership in education, research, and the clinical practice of family-focused health care in the military and public health services.
