OVERVIEW

The Department of Military & Emergency Medicine pursues scholarly activity in multiple domains related to medical education, clinical care, leadership, and knowledge translation from military to civilian communities and vice versa. The department also conducts military requirements-driven research in a variety of areas such as the pathophysiology of diseases affecting readiness, human performance optimization, and traumatic injury mechanisms and treatment.
