The USU Translational Medicine Unit (TMU) is an outpatient clinical research center at the Uniformed Services University on the campus of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.  The TMU conducts research in partnership with numerous stakeholders on campus, as well as industry and academia.  The TMU supports clinical stage development of medical products.  In doing so, we advance scientific knowledge regarding clinical outcomes, particularly focused on product safety.  In addition, we improve the academic partnership between the school and numerous research partners including the medical center and support the educational mission of USU.
