MAJ Eunice Torres, was assigned to Ft Bliss on 2014 to serve as a staff Pediatrician and support the mission of providing quality and efficient general pediatric care to children served by the Fort Bliss Health Care System and William Beaumont Army Medical Center. She studied medicine at University of Puerto Rico and proceeded to complete her training in Pediatrics at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. MAJ Torres is a Board Certified Pediatrician since 2014. Passionate about education, MAJ Torres is the Medical Director for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Director of Education for Inpatient Pediatrics at WBAMC and also serves as a mentor to PA students that rotate through WBAMC. She has been Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Science, since April 2017. Military Pediatricians also serve as General Medical Officers and contribute to maintain and support a ready force. MAJ Torres deployed to Kuwait in 2015.
