Born in Orlando, FL. Went to Marquette University after high school. Double majored in History and Political Science with a minor in Military Studies on an Army ROTC scholarship. Graduated in 1996 and was assigned to Walter Reed as Assistant Lead for the Clinical Information System installation to Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After completion of my ROTC active duty commitment, I was transferred to the IRR and began my pre-med studies in Northern Virginia. During this time, I worked as a Process Improvement Specialist for 1 year at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and for 2 years as a State Policy Researcher for the National Association of Children's Hospitals until acceptance at USUHS. I graduated from USUHS in 2008 with residency at Madigan Army Medical Center until 2011. I married my wife in 2009. After residency, we went to Ft Rucker, Alabama to work as a Flight Surgeon and Pediatrician from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, we PCS'd to Landstuhl Army Medical Center where I was a General Pediatrician and the Pediatric Clinic Chief until 2019.
