Biography

Dr. Dechang Chen is currently Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics at USU. He teaches the core Biostatistics II course required for many graduate programs at USU. He also teaches An Introduction to Machine Learning. Dr. Chen conducts research in machine learning and its applications (in bioinformatics, medicine, and networks), applied statistics, and partial differential equations. He has been supported by grants from NSF and DoD.
