Biography

Stanley Ng, MPH, is a data analyst/statistician at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS) of the Department of Psychiatry (PSY). He performs statistical data analysis for the Army Study to Assess Risk and Resilience in Servicemembers (Army STARRS). Army STARRS is a multi-component, multi-million dollar study aiming to understand the risk and resilience factors to mental health and suicidal behaviors in the US Army. In addition, he analyzes survey data for other mental health-related projects at CSTS. Stanley Ng received a Master of Public Health from Drexel University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology from University of California, Berkeley. He was a post baccalaureate research fellow at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, a part of the National Institutes of Health. He joined CSTS/PSY in 2012.
