Biography

MAJ Elizabeth Yu is currently a pediatric nephrology staff attending at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC). She studied Bioengineering as an undergraduate student and earned a B.S. degree at the University of Maryland, College Park. Shortly thereafter, she entered the US Air Force as a 2LT at Uniformed Services University F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine. She continued on her medical education, transferring to the US Army in 2015 and entering Pediatrics Residency at MAMC in 2015. MAJ Yu completed Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship from 2018-2021 at Seattle Childrens Hospital under the University of Washington Medical School, and moved back to MAMC in 2021 after graduation. She currently is not only the pediatric nephrologist, but also one of the Associate Program Directors of the pediatrics residency and Exceptional Family Member Program medical director.
