Biography

Dr. Theurer (pronounced: tī(ə)r) currently serves as Program Director of the Army's premier Family Medicine residency program at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He loves working with students, residents, and faculty. He is an outdoors enthusiast who volunteers as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America. He and his wonderful wife are proud parents through the blessings of foster care and adoption.

Education and Research
Dr. Theurer had the privilege of completing the prestigious Madigan Faculty Development Fellowship. He has served as residency faculty at Tripler Army Medical Center and Womack Army Medical Center. He has published multiple articles. He has presented at regional and national level conferences.

Leadership in Medicine
LTC Theurer has served in multiple clinical leadership roles throughout his military career. In Wiesbaden, Germany he served as Medical Director. He served as OIC (Officer In Charge) at the Tripler Family Medicine Residency Clinic. He served as Associate Program Director at both the Tripler and Womack Family Medicine Residency programs.

Military Specific
In 2007-2008 LTC Theurer deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 1st Infantry Division.
