BiographyCol (Ret) Pock has cultivated a special interest in Integrative Medicine and internationally based, military-medical diplomacy. A board certified internist and a Medical Acupuncturist, Dr. Pock spent the majority of her career on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. She currently serves as the Associate Dean for Curriculum at the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, and was actively involved in coordinating the implementation of a totally revised, "Molecules to Military Medicine" curriculum for the School of Medicine. Her prior military assignments included over 10 years of service in the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General, during which time she served as the Director of the Air Force Medical Corps, as Chief, Medical Plans, Programs and Integration, as the Director of the Air Force International Health Specialist program (IHS), and as the Air Force Surgeon General's Chief Consultant for Internal Medicine and the Medical sub-specialties. Dr. Pock is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where she received her baccalaureate degree and is also an alumnus of the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine.
