Biography
Dr. Paul Elsbernd is a Staff Neurologist and Neuroimmunologist at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. He commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force upon graduation from the US Air Force Academy in 2007 and served as a military scientist for 6 years before attending medical school. He earned his doctorate of medicine from Georgetown University in Washington, DC before completing his internship and neurology residency at Brooke Army Medical Center. He went on to complete a Neuroimmunology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona with a special research interest in MOG Antibody Disease. Dr. Elsbernd also has a passion for medical education and holds appointments as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Uniformed Services University and as an Adjoint Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Long School of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
