Biography

CPT Parsons is a board certified general pediatrician who completed her graduate degrees in the combined MD/PhD program at Uniformed Services University (USU). She obtained her PhD in Emerging Infectious Disease focused on regulatory T cells and their roles in vaccine response and endemic Burkitt lymphoma. After graduating from USU, CPT Parsons completed a residency in pediatrics at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, after which CPT Parsons returned to USU as assistant professor. Her current research focuses on T cell responses to SARS-CoV-2.
