Biography
Barbara Fuhrman obtained a Master’s in Epidemiology and a PhD in Epidemiology and Community Health at the University at Buffalo and went on to complete postdoctoral training in the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute, NIH. She has taught graduate-level courses on epidemiologic methods and molecular epidemiology. At USU, her research will focus on cancer etiology and the role of the gut in health and disease across the lifespan.Representative Bibliography
