Biography
Lieutenant Colonel (Dr.) Michael McMahon is an Associate Professor in the Department Medicine at the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences; Bethesda, MD. Dr. McMahon is a pulmonary/critical care physician who currently serves as the Chief of Pulmonary Medicine at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and as Program Director of the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship within the National Capital Consortium. His wide-reaching research has included the study of post-deployment lung disease and improving the identification of venous thromboembolic disease within the military health system.
