Biography

LT Sean Oenick is an Assistant Professor and USU Internal Medicine Clerkship Director at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.

Dr. Oenick is a board certified Internal Medicine physician and Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego and then served as critical care physician as part of Fleet Surgical Team Six. He was deployed on the USS Mesa Verde in 2023-2024 as part of the BATAAN Amphibious Readiness Group. Dr. Oenick has a passion for both inpatient and outpatient internal medicine and has a strong interest in obesity medicine.
