MD PROGRAM

The MD program is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). In October 2015, the School of Medicine was the first medical school in the country to go through accreditation with the then-new LCME standards, and received accreditation for the maximum period of eight years. During the 2023-2024 academic year, the School of Medicine underwent the full re-accreditation process, including a site visit by the LCME; and in July 2024, received full accreditation for another eight-year period. The next LCME accreditation review will take place during the 2031-2032 academic year.
