Biography

CAPT Sherri Rudinsky, MD is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and USUHS alumni. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine with subspecialty training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, completing residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and fellowship at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, California. She is the former program director for the Naval Medical Center San Diego Emergency Medicine Residency and is currently an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Military and Emergency Medicine at Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, Maryland. During her over 20 years in the Navy, she has held various academic and operational assignments as an active duty Emergency Medicine physician. CAPT Rudinsky is a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and American College of Emergency Physicians. Her research and scholarly interests include pediatric emergency medicine, operational medicine, and medical education. She has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.
