Biography

Dr. Raymond grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from the University of New England, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. He then completed residency at Womack Army Medical Center. From 2014 to 2016 he served as a flight surgeon for the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade and Medical Director for the U.S. Army Air Ambulance Detachment at Yakima Training Center. He joined Madigan’s faculty in September 2016. He deployed for 9 months with the 86th Combat Support Hospital where he oversaw aeromedical evacuations. As core faculty, Dr. Raymond serves as research and scholarly activity director and medical student clerkship coordinator. He has also served as pain champion and has a waiver to prescribe medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. Dr. Raymond loves Boston sports. He serves on the administrative board for the Gig Harbor United Methodist Church. In his free time he enjoys running, hiking, camping, skiing, and adventures on his paddle board.
