Biography

Celestine (Tina) Johnson currently serves as the Educational Technician for Graduate Programs in Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics. As Educational Technician she plans, directs, coordinates and reports on the full scope of activities required to accomplish the PMB program mission objective. Her primary responsibility is for the maintenance and execution of the Preventive Medicine and Biometrics Graduate Program Office. She provides guidance and recommendation to senior leadership, adjunct professors, staff and students; keeping them informed and fully engaged through official memorandums, emails, flyers and meetings. She also assists faculty, staff and students with the Sakai and Empower systems. She manages all graduate students registration, class roster and grade sheets and coordinates the process for Preventive Medicine orientation and graduation. Ms Johnson has MSW from University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Social Work and BS from Columbia Union College, Takoma Park, MD and has worked at USUHS since 2001.
