Biography
Dr. J.T. Green is a Physician-Scientist and Deputy Vice Chair of Clinical Research at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). He is a Co-Investigator with the Military Cardiovascular Outcomes Research Program (MiCOR) and the Chief of Modeling with the Battlefield Shock and Organ Support Lab (BSOS). He completed his cardiology fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, while contributing substantially to the Department of War’s research into the mechanistic origins of cardiovascular collapse in shock. His clinical foundation includes service as an emergency physician, internist, U.S. Army Flight Surgeon, and MEDEVAC Director for the 1st Armored Division, with operational deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. Green’s research focuses on computational physiology, capturing key mathematical relationships in cardiovascular collapse, traumatic hemorrhage, and organ support, specifically in military and austere environments.Representative Bibliography
