Biography
LCDR Brown was born at Jacksonville Naval Hospital, grew up around NAS Patuxent River, and attended Muhlenberg College (BS in Biology and History, Cum Laude, 2014). He was commissioned as an active duty Ensign in 2014 and attended the Uniformed Services University F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine (MD, 2018). He completed his Pediatrics Internship at naval Medical Center San Diego in 2019 before doing a tour as the Flight Surgeon for NMRTC NE where he was responsible for OCS and the Naval War College.Returning to NMCSD, LCDR Brown completed Pediatrics Residency in 2024 and was competitively selected to serve as the Chief of Residents for the 2024-25 academic year.
LCDR Brown will attend Child Neurology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine from 2025 to 2028.
