Biography

Christian Coles is an epidemiologist who serves as the Scientific Director for the Military Health System Response to COVID-19 (MiHReC19) project in the Center for Health Services Research (CHSR) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Inc. His research encompasses a range of interdisciplinary studies designed to inform clinical practices and health care policies, improve health outcomes, increase access to health care and promote health equity. Dr. Coles has more than 20 years of experience conducting research focused on reducing morbidity and mortality in underserved communities in the United States, South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.
