Biography
LTC Aaron Holley has spent the last 6 years serving as the Chief of Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine at the Army's two largest medical centers. He is an academic physician, committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and research. His research interests include airway diseases, sleep disorders, and venous thromboembolism prophylaxis, with a focus on application to the active duty war fighter. He has received funding to study the respiratory effects from deployment to South West Asia (Iraq and Afghanistan) and treatment of sleep disorders in active duty service members with post-traumatic stress disorder. He is a member of the Airways Disorders and Pulmonary Physiology, Function and Rehabilitation CHEST College (American College of Chest Physician) Networks. He designs educational content for the CHEST College, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University (USU), and teaches/mentors medical students and house-staff from USU and Brooke Army Medical Center.
