Biography

Alyssa MacMahon is an Instructor and Education Specialist in the Department of Pediatrics. Alyssa has been involved in STEM education for over a decade, with interests in curriculum and assessment development, feedback, educational research, technical writing, and professional presentation. Alyssa has a background as a mathematician and educator with experience at the secondary, undergraduate, and graduate level, as well as with uniformed service members. Alyssa is passionate about teaching and learning; Finding the best strategies to engage learners from all backgrounds while ensuring teachers/instructors are equipped with the knowledge and skill to implement those strategies.
