Biography

Dr. Andrea E. Crunkhorn is the Chief, Clinical Affairs for the Extremity Trauma and Amputation Center of Excellence (EACE), responsible for strategic planning and operational implementation of limb trauma related policies and regulation for the Department of Defense (DOD). She works closely across federal agencies and at the national level. Dr. Crunkhorn serves as President of the Federal Physical Therapy Section, American Physical Therapy Association, and chairs the APTA’s only Amputation Care Special Interest Group. Dr. Crunkhorn previously served as a military physical therapist for over 28 years, deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, commanded medical facilities and served as the Chief, Army Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Consultant to the Army Surgeon General. She holds Bachelors through Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy; a Master of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Science in Strategic Studies.
