Biography

A Pittsburgh, PA native, Dr. Bunt graduated from the University of Michigan, where he ran Track and Cross Country. He received his MD from Uniformed Services University before completing a Family Medicine residency at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. He completed a Faculty Development Fellowship at UNC-Chapel Hill and is additionally certified in Medical Acupuncture. While on Active Duty, he worked in both undergraduate and graduate medical education and deployed twice in support of military operations. He is currently an Air Force Reserve Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) Department of Family Medicine faculty member at USU. In his civilian job, he is a Core Family Medicine Residency program Faculty member and military medical advisor for the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
