Biography
LTC Raboin, originally hails from Bristol, CT, the home of ESPN. He received his Bachelor of Pharmacy Studies and graduated as an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of Connecticut. He entered active duty in 2002, upon completion of his Doctor of Pharmacy.As a Pharmacy Officer, he held multiple leadership positions including: Chief, Pharmacy Services, USAMEDDAC, Fort Irwin, CA; Assistant Chief of Pharmacy, 121st General Hospital, Korea; Chief of Support/Supply Pharmacy, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Chief, Outpatient Pharmacy, Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
In 2008, he resigned his commission to pursue medicine at Uniformed Services University. He graduated with his Doctor of Medicine in 2012 and performed his Transitional Internship and Anesthesiology Residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.
After graduation in 2016, he was assigned to Womack Army Medical Center, eventually becoming the Assistant Chief of Anesthesia. While at Fort Bragg, he deployed to Puerto Rico in support of Hurricane Maria relief in 2017 and Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel/Resolute Support in 2019. In Afghanistan, he commanded the NATO Multi-national Role 2 Military Treatment Facility at Hamid Karzai International Airport. LTC Raboin served as the Vice Chair for Logistics for the Department of Anesthesia at San Antonio Military Medical Center and Chief, Anesthesia Service and Chief, Surgical Care Line, Burn Center, United States Army Institute of Surgical Research.
He completed the Critical Care Anesthesiology Fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Currently, he is a Critical Care Anesthesiologist and Chief Quality Officer in the Department of Anesthesia at Walter Reed NMMC.
His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, four Meritorious Service Medals, Army Medical Department (AMEDD)9A Proficiency Designator, the Order of Military Medical Merit, and the Romanian Military Medicine Emblem of Honor.
He has been married 20 years and has twin 15 year-olds. His hobbies include attending his kids events and anything outdoors.
