Biography

Maj (Dr.) David Quackenbush is Medical Director of the Cadet Medicine Clinic at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado. He oversees the care provided by 11 physicians and a Nurse Practitioner, leads the Adolescent Medicine consult service in two clinics serving 3 states, is the Colorado Market Transgender Care Liaison, is the Basic Cadet Training Medical Director, and the USAF Academy Sexual Assault Medical Manager. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland.

Maj Quackenbush entered the Air Force in June 2010 as a graduate of Commissioned Officer Training, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth, Texas and Master of Public Health degree from University of Texas School of Public Health, San Antonio, Texas. He is board certified in General Pediatrics and in Adolescent Medicine.
