Biography

Lieutenant Colonel Edward Booth was born in Abilene, Texas and entered active-duty service in April 1995. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science and Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, a Master of Business Administration and Master of Health Administration from Baylor University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Services Research from George Mason University.

Since joining the Army, Lieutenant Colonel Booth has served in a variety of assignments: Chief of Clinical Operations, V Corps; Senior Medical Research Scientist, U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine; Military Medical Education and Training Advisor, U.S. Army Office of the Program Manager - Saudi Arabian National Guard; Deputy Chief, Army Medical Specialist Corps Branch, U.S. Army Human Resources Command; Command Surgeon, Area Support Group-Qatar; Deputy Chief of Clinical Operations, Office of the U.S. Army Surgeon General; Flight Surgeon, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade; Aeromedical Physician Assistant, 4-227 Attack and Reconnaissance Battalion; Physician Assistant, 6-37 Field Artillery Battalion; Battalion Adjutant, 2-43 Air Defense Battalion; Executive Officer, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2-43 Air Defense Battalion; Platoon Leader, Charlie Battery, 2-43 Air Defense Battalion.

Lieutenant Colonel Booth has a daughter, Cali, and three grandsons - Bray, Callen, and Jude.
