Biography

Born and raised on a farm in northwestern Pennsylvania until high school when she moved to Colorado, the state she continues to think of as home as her family remains settled in the area and she lived there for much of her later adolescent and young adult life while completing high school and her undergraduate and post-graduate education. Following completion of medical school, the military brought her back to the east coast where she completed her pediatric residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in southern Virginia before joining the pediatric endocrinology team at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where she is currently completing her fellowship.
