Biography

Lt Col Jonathan Henderson, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Military and Emergency Medicine with a secondary appointment in Pediatrics at the Uniformed Services University (USU). He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He also holds an appointment as Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Henderson has served for over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He has multiple deployments, most recently as part of a Ground Surgical Team. Dr. Henderson currently serves as the course director for the Combat Medical Skills Course, the Advanced Combat Medical Experience course, and the Military Operational Space Medicine course at USU, instructing students from the School of Medicine and Graduate School of Nursing as well as international students.
