Biography

I am honored to presently serve as the Associate Program Director for the SAUSHEC Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship in San Antonio, TX. Within this role, I chair the fellowship scholarly oversight committee and program evaluation committee. My goal is to ensure a quality research environment is maintained for our fellows and assist the fulfilling the vision set forth by our program director.

My Air Force career began as a medical student at USUHS in 2007. After completing a residency in pediatrics in 2014, I was a general pediatrician and served as adjunct faculty for the family medicine residency at Nellis Air Force Base. I completed a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine from 2017-2020, and then served as neonatal medical director and transport director at the U.S. Naval Medical Center in Okinawa, Japan prior to returning to San Antonio in my current role.
