Biography
After completing residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston MA, Dr. Shvartsman served as a staff Obstetrician/Gynecologist in the US Navy. While on acitve duty, she deployed to Kuwait in support of operation Iraqi Freedom. After fulfilling her military commitment, Dr. Shvartsman joined the staff at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and served as the associate program director for the Ob/Gyn residency. In 2012, she joined the faculty at the Uniformed Services University where she served as the Clinical Clerkship Director in the Department of Gynecologic Surgery and Obstetrics (GSO) from 2012 - 2022.
