Biography

Dr. Katherine L. Dengler, MD, FACOG received her medical doctorate from the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS) in 2008. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in 2012 and after a five years as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology she completed her Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in 2020. She has been actively serving in the military since 2004 and holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army. She currently serves as the Chief of the Urogynecology Division at WRNMMC and is the Associate Program Director for the National Capital Consortium/INOVA Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. She is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at USUHS and UVA.
