Biography

Dr. Mary Andrews attended the University of Notre Dame and Creighton University School of Medicine. She then completed internal medicine residency and a chief resident year at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, followed by a two year general internal medicine fellowship which included a MPH from the Uniformed Services University and dedicated time for teaching, patient care, and scholarship. Following GIM fellowship, she served four years as Associate Clerkship Director for Medicine at USU and then was appointed Program Director for the General Internal Medicine Fellowship. She has written and spoken extensively on using self-regulated learning to identify and remediate struggling test-takers. Her scholarly interests include remediation, self-regulated learning, and meta-analysis research methods.
