Biography

Dr. Rhiannon Flowers is a board-certified pediatrician at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She is responsible for providing dependent healthcare for an empanelment of approximately 1000 pediatric patients. Since beginning as a full-time pediatrician, Dr. Flowers has become the champion physician peer expert for the MHS Genesis EMR transition and is a board member of the Incident Determination Committee at Wright Patterson AFB. She has taken an active role in medical education as the Physician Faculty Representative for Wright State University’s Integrated Pediatric Residency Resident Advisory Committee, Pediatric Clerkship Director for Wright State University and USU students rotating at Wright Patterson AFB, and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. Dr. Flowers obtained her bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences in 2014 from Northern Arizona University with minors in chemistry and psychology while graduating summa cum laude. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019 before completing her pediatric residency with Wright State University Integrated Pediatric Residency Program. Dr. Flowers attended Commissioned Officer Training at Maxwell AFB in 2016 where she was the squadron leader and a distinguished graduate.
