Biography

LCDR Schubauer serves as the MSPH Program Director and an Assistant Professor in the Occupational and Environmental Health Science division of the Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics Department. She is commissioned as an Industrial Hygiene Officer in the United States Navy. Her duty stations included Industrial Hygiene Officer at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton from 2008 to 2011, Assistant Safety/Industrial Hygiene Officer aboard the USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65) during its final deployment and inactivation from 2011 - 2013, as well as a Fellow in the Emergency Management Department of the Environmental Protection Agency from 2013-2014. From 2014 to 2016, she was the Industrial Hygiene Department Head at Naval Hospital Naples, Italy. LCDR Schubauer transitioned to the Reserves in November 2016. In May 2020 LCDR Schubauer transitioned back to active duty and served as the Force Industrial Hygiene Officer for Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic.
