Biography

Dr. Steven Palmer is currently the Chief of Neurology at the 96th Medical Group, Eglin AFB, FL. He commissioned into the US Air Force through the ROTC program in 2012 after graduating summa cum laude from Villanova University. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and went on to complete his internship and neurology residency at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Following residency, he served as Chief Neurologist at the 48th Medical Group, RAF Lakenheath, UK. Dr. Palmer is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (ABPN) and electrodiagnostic medicine by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM), and holds subspecialty certification in headache medicine through the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS).
