Yifan Chen received his medical training with nearly five-year experience in sports medicine in China. Subsequently he obtained his Ph.D. in Physiology at Kent State University. Before joining USU, he was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Rochester and research assistant professor at Georgetown University.
